I have been obsessed with Malin + Goetz ever since accidently discovering their flagship store in NYC. Their minimalistic apothecary style packaging, their gentle formulations and the luxurious feel of their products had me hooked at first go.

One of my favourite products from their range is the Grapefruit Cleanser. The scent is gorgeously invigorating while being mild enough to not smell excessively overwhelming. The cleanser doesn’t strip your skins natural oils yet still manages to remove all traces of makeup all without getting too ‘foamy’.

Yes, it is pricey, but it is worth it. You only need to use a small amount and it leaves your skin feeling fresh, clean and soft.

Malin + Goetz is family owned and their philosophy is based around combining a scientific approach with natural and sustainable ingredients. Which, to me, is beyond perfect.

From their website:
“We consider ourselves to be natural, since we start with the most trusted natural ingredients and enhance their performance without relying on unnecessary chemicals or preservatives that could potentially harm you and the environment. We have never tested on animals and do not plan to ever do so.”

Since switching to a vegan lifestyle, the first thing I did was email them directly to ask about vegan-friendly products. I was ecstatic with their response:

“The majority of our product line is free of animal by-product. There are just a few items which are not – our Vitamin B5 Body Moisturizer contains honey and cow’s milk, our Vitamin E Face Moisturizer contains cow’s milk, our Rice Bran Eye Moisturizer contains lanolin, and our Hair Pomade contains beeswax.”
